“Ratatouille 2” picks up several years after the events of the original film. Remy, now the celebrated head chef of La Ratatouille, has turned the once-humble Parisian bistro into a world-renowned culinary destination. Linguini and Colette are happily married, and their young daughter, Amélie, is starting to show an early talent for cooking.
The story begins when a rival restaurant chain, La Révolution, opens across the street, threatening La Ratatouille’s success. In the climactic showdown, Remy and Marcel must work together to create the ultimate dish to win back the restaurant’s reputation and expose Auguste’s treachery. The dish, a fusion of Remy’s classic ratatouille and Marcel’s innovative techniques, astonishes everyone, including Auguste, who realizes that cooking is about passion and creativity, not rivalry.
